This lovely piece is an early 20th century Swedish bench. Crafted from pine, it features charming rail and stile back splats, and has been newly upholstered in a designer cotton linen blend textile (Amelia // La Mer from Lauren Servati Textiles). The pine wood has a lovely warm and mellow tone, with a beautiful patina.
Lift off the bench seat to reveal a full storage drawer with hand dovetailed joinery. The drawer slides out offering plenty of storage space. It could even be used as a trundle bed, as this style of bench was originally intended.
