$5,495.00

This chic piece is a French Empire Display Cabinet or Library Vitrine dating from the early 1800's. The Empire period is from the Napoleonic era in France, and stylistic elements such as the beautiful bronze capped columns on the lower portion of this china cabinet are emblematic of this stylish period in history.

This display cabinet is constructed from French oak with walnut veneer, and features a book-matched burlwood veneer on the lower cabinet doors. Lovely bronze details and escutcheon plates add just the right amount of sparkle.

Both the upper and lower doors feature original antique locks, still operable with a beautiful pair of skeleton keys which are included.
