This elegant piece is an 18th century English Georgian chest of drawers, dating from the 1770s. Expertly crafted from English oak, it features a warm, mellow tone, and beautiful wood grain.

The chest has been arranged with two upper drawers over three spacious full-width drawers of graduated height. Each drawer slides smoothly, and has been constructed with hand-cut dovetail joinery. It retains all of its original brass escutcheon plates, and rests on elegant bracket feet.

Tall in stature at 39.5" H x 37" W, we think that this piece would make a grand statement in an entry, living, or dining area. Or place it in a bedroom or study where its ample storage space would prove especially useful.
