19th Century French Louis XVI Style Commode With Marble Top
This chic piece is a French Louis XVI commode dating from the late 1800's. Inspired by the Neoclassical era in design, it's just as stylish today as it was 130 years ago.
This commode has been crafted from mahogany, and is topped with an original black St Anne marble top. Below, three drawers with hand-dovetailed joinery are ornamented with beautiful cast bronze escutcheon plates and original drawer pulls. Corner support feature an elegant reeded detail, with legs terminating in cast bronze ferrules.
