19th C Swedish Pine Bench with Cushion
This lovely piece is a 19th century Swedish Farmhouse bench. Crafted from pine, it features elegantly scrolled arms and a gently undulating top rail and back splats. The pine wood has a warm and mellow tone, with a beautiful patina. The bench comes with a new Belgian linen bench cushion with self welt in Unfading Flower from Lauren Servati Textiles.
Lift off the bench seat to reveal a full storage drawer with hand dovetail joinery. The drawer slides out offering plenty of storage space. We think that this Swedish bench would be a charming addition to any home, from an entry bench, to a mudroom or a hallway. This bench has been restored and lightly waxed to seal and preserve it's lovely patina. The bench is sturdy and stable and ready to be cherished for the next 150+ years.
